My Ph.D. thesis is titled « Machine learning for capture and modeling of the visual appearance of surfaces ». I am mainly working on Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI). RTI is an emerging research field and it is a meticulous procedure from acquisition to visualization. My research is focused on improving RTI acquisition and visualization methods using Artificial Intelligence. RTI images have several applications. Some of them are industrial equipment inspection, cultural heritage preservation, crime investigation, and dermatology.
