Internship : Comparison of acquisition with filtering in emission or reception

Project description

A new experiment is being installed that enable us to choose to make the
acquisition filtering light in emission or reception. A completely
programable lighting device is coupled with a camera equipped with a
filter wheel.
The objective of the internship is to realize an experiment conducting both kind of acquisitions:
Filtering the light by choosing which led to use (involving inverse problem solving),
Filtering in emission by using the filter in front of the camera using reference white light.
Then comparison between the acquisitions must be done to extract the
pros and cons of both approaches. A study can be done to evaluate the
impact of the selectivity of the filtering.

Skills

Level: Master 2 student,
Good programming skills in python or C/C++,
Knowledge in colour/hyperspectral imaging,
Knowledge in machine learning for inverse problem
Dynamism and autonomy to integrate a multidisciplinary research team.

Closing date: 04/20/2023
